Waltham Black Future Fund LLC is a grassroots activist organization dedicated to building a more inclusive community. To meet our goals WBFF is dedicated to ensuring we recruit the board members we need to ensure maximum impact.

Waltham Black Future Fund LLC Board of Directors comprises leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sector who are dedicated to the organization’s mission of addressing systemic inequities, community service, and building generational wealth.

Our board members champion the importance of exceptional board leadership and believe that each and every organization needs a strong and effective board to fully realize its potential for good. In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, our board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for Waltham Black Future Fund to advance its mission.

WBFF Board Members:

Set priorities, make key policy decisions, and help with long-term planning for the organization.

Create/update the Mission Statement.

Attend a monthly meeting (1-2 hours).

Represent the organization in public meetings and communicate on behalf of the organization with the public, city/school officials, funders, or other stakeholders as needed.

Take initiative to move new program areas forward.

WBFF is currently an LLC, but may transition to a 501(c)(3) in the future. Board members are not paid, and there is no expected donation.
